We are currently seeking a temporary HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client in Hams Halls, Birmingham. As a leading recruitment agency, Workchain is dedicated to finding the best talent for our clients in the Driving industry.
This is a 6 week contract starting 11th Nov 2024, Assessments/Training will be week commencing from the 21st Oct 2024.
This will be 5 out of the 7 days, so weekends will be required.
Days and Night shifts are available. Various start times.
Depot to Depot mainly with the odd small depot drop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Transport goods and materials to various locations
- Adhere to all driving and safety regulations
- Complete accurate paperwork and logbooks
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license for 2 years, no more than 6 points and over 25 for insurance purposes.
- CPC qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills and customer service attitude
