Health & Safety Lead - Logistics
Working closely with the Logistics team, you will ensure that our Health & Safety procedures are effectively implemented, upheld, and enhanced, making a real difference in the day-to-day safety of our operations.
In partnership with the Head of Safety, you will drive the safety strategy, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
The main function of the Health, Safety, and Well-being Advisor is to oversee the health, safety, and well-being of all facilities, including office buildings, laboratories, and other company premises.
This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and well-being policies and programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and to promote a culture of safety and well-being across our engineering and assets, retail developer services, and group functions.

This role would suit somebody from a Chemistry background.
The purpose of this role will be to coordinate and supervise Controlled Waste operations at AWE sites, including task supervision of personnel and management of working areas.
