We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Effingham, Leatherhead supporting students aged 11-16 years old with Autism and associated behavioural and communication difficulties.
The role
Where necessary this will include safely supporting challenging behaviour with positive behaviour management, adopting a tailored approach to the individual child and contributing to risk assessments and behaviour support strategies to ensure our children can access education and develop life skills.
As Teaching Assistant, your role is to support our children with their learning and general wellbeing to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.
Reports to: Senior IT Trainer (day-to-day) and Head of IT (monthly).

This role involves designing and creating training materials, as well as preparing and delivering diverse training sessions to all users, including firm-wide roll-outs, new starter inductions, and ongoing user development.
Purpose of the Job: As a key member of the IT team, you will collaborate with the Senior IT Trainer to deliver IT training and support to meet business needs, both remotely and on-site.
