The Engineering College of Technology (ECT) is undergoing an exciting period of growth. The Role

As an LSO, you will be responsible for the meticulous coordination and administration of our online VET training courses. This role demands exceptional administrative and organisational skills, as you will be the backbone of our course management. You will interact daily with students, lecturers, and staff, coordinating course intakes and handling various administrative tasks. This hybrid role allows you to work from home two days per week, with the remaining days spent in our cosy Worcester Park office. You'll be part of a global team with colleagues in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the Philippines.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of duties:

  • Engaging with potential students to answer queries and provide top-notch support.
  • Coordinating courses, including scheduling webinars, liaising with lecturers, compiling course materials, creating and sending certificates, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance.
  • Updating and maintaining data on the student management system.
  • Identifying and counselling under performing students.
  • Ensuring course compliance with all Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
  • Implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Training lecturers and students on the use of BigBlueButton.
  • Managing and maintaining our LMS (Moodle) site.
  • Assisting the College Manager and colleagues as needed.
  • Handling general office administration tasks.
  • Assisting with EIT accounts.

What will you need to succeed?

  • At least 3 years of experience in a multi-faceted administrative role.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • A passion for education and helping others to achieve their best.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills are a 'musthave' for this role
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for Registered Training Organisations will be highly regarded
  • Track record of delivering top-tier customer service
  • Effectively juggling multiple tasks is your forte
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • You are comfortable being an independent self-starter who enjoys taking the initiative to get tasks completed
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in various tech tools, or able to pick up new software easily, from Microsoft Office to Learning Management Systems, and online meeting platforms like BigBlueButton, Collaborate Ultra, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
  • You will have your TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Please note that if you don't have your Cert IV in Training and Assessment, that you will need to be willing to obtain this as part of your ongoing employment. ECT will cover the cost of your course.
