Delivering a breadth of support to older and disabled people, people with mental ill health, dementia and their carers.
The successful candidate will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all aspects of adult social care services in a complex and demanding legal and social environment.

General
You can expect plenty of variety as a Head of Maintenance with us.
Delivery and lead in delivery of day-to-day holistic care for residents and meeting their unique needs.
Duties include (but not exclusive to): personal care; assisting with mobility needs; infection control; supporting residents with dementia, and end of life care; changing bed linen, sorting laundry, safe disposal of clinical waste, manage stock levels and equipment such as wheelchairs.
General
Experience in working with Dementia patients and level 3 in care qualification is essential for this role
Provide and deliver a comprehensive care and support service including all elements of personal care and hygiene, while maintaining independence and dignity at all times.
Assist where required in resident's health and well-being including nutrition, medication/creams, mobility, shopping/health appointments and supporting/welcome their visitors.
Ensure the social support of residents - e.g., encouraging/facilitating their interests and meaningful activities.
The Chef (Care Home) manages the day-to-day food and drinks provision in their allocated care home by overseeing a kitchen and team of Senior Hospitality Assistants, with the majority of food prepared by our suppliers.
Summary responsibilities/outcomes
Responsible for the day-to-day provision of food and drinks service across allocated care home, tailored to meet the needs and preferences of our residents.
Cooking of light meals and finishing/serving food prepared by our suppliers.
Delivery of a holistic, person-centred service to care home residents, which identifies their hospitality, housekeeping and catering needs and preferences.
Maintain a high standard of hygiene in accordance with health and safety, infection control standards, food hygiene legislation and St Monica Trust's policies and procedures.

Total of 30 hours per week to include weekend working.
