POSITION SCOPE: responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of operational work plans, job lists and department schedules within the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments standards. Responsible for achieving department Key Performance Indicators. JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversee the quality of work produced in all areas of Housekeeping and Laundry Department, including checking and cleaning guest rooms and public areas. Represent Housekeeping department at morning operational meetings ensuring full knowledge of VIP arrivals and any guest complaints, resolving all complaints in a timely manner in conjunction with Front Office. Facilitate guest requests in a prompt manner, via Alice and/or Front Office. Adhere to all brand standards and to take full responsibility for the implementation of any changes to standards. Work toward achieving audit targets/scores for hygiene and cleanliness Supervise, train, coach and counsel staff. Undertake administration tasks of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department including monthly stocktakes of guest supplies/amenities.

The Role Working as part of a friendly and professional team, you will oversee and undertake the delivery of a comprehensive and effective cleaning schedule at the beautiful, Charlton Farm near Bristol. This includes the cleaning of the main house and offices including preparation of children's and family rooms and all main communal areas and bathrooms. The Housekeeping team are also responsible for overseeing the laundering of bed linen and clothes, ironing, stocking up of linen cupboards. Responsibilities include: Assigning tasks to the housekeeping staff and monitoring their performance Housekeeping team rota management Inspecting the areas of housekeeping and addressing any complaints or issues Issuing and keeping inventories of cleaning supplies and equipment Informing the Operations Lead about any furniture or equipment that needs replacement or repair Recruiting, training, and motivating new housekeeping employees Producing a robust and effective cleaning schedule The Successful Candidate As an enthusiastic and experienced housekeeping/cleaning supervisor, you have an eye for detail and take pride in delivering high standards. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential as is the ability to adapt to the needs of the families and service.
