Position: Head of Finance Location: Buckingham Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience. Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. What you'll do: As Head of Finance, you will be forming part of the management team in the UK and getting involved in other management projects. You will be responsible for accurate daily processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank/cash registers. In this role you will report directly to local management and CFO in the Netherlands. Your responsibilities include: Responsible for the month, quarter, and year end closing. Analysing expenses and credit card statements. Periodical cash flow reporting and analysis. Controlling debtors. Assessing and optimising processes. Review internal control assessment. Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks. Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial health and present them to the CFO and local management. Develop and implement robust financial policies and systems to ensure best practice. Lead, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of the finance team. Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. What you'll bring: As a person, you are hands on and proactive, experienced in driving high quality in existing processes with an eye for detail. Furthermore: 3 to 5 years' experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar leadership role. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) Demonstrated skill in process optimisation and documentation, showcasing your commitment to driving efficiency and excellence. Extensive experience in the accounting world, able to guide the team and coach them to take the team to the next level. Preferably familiar with Exact software. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing all aspects of the Drama curriculum within the Academy, providing high-quality leadership, and contributing to the overall leadership capacity of the Academy.
