Reporting into the Head of Medical, the Head of Performance will work directly with the players and associated personnel, at all levels, designing, overseeing and implementing a comprehensive Science based Strength and Conditioning programme for the group and individuals within that group. define and implement the Strategic vision based on a data driven and evidence-based programme. provide and agree a clear strategy for the Director of Football, Head of Medical and First Team Manager develop close working relationships with these peers to ensure a collaborative and cohesive implementation create clear language and processes to enhance communication: dissemination and understanding of information provide guidance, direction, and support whilst motivating team members to achieve their goals and meet performance targets. ensure clear plans are in place, to support individuals to achieve their goals and meet deadlines. identify training and development needs for team members and support opportunities for development and career growth. in conjunction with the Head of Medical provide regular feedback to all direct reports and conduct annual and bi-annual appraisals take responsibility for identifying and addressing underperformance or poor behaviour. ensure that team members are informed, understand and comply with organisational policies, regulations and updates. generate, justify and manage departmental Budgets with support from the DOF
