Hunter Gatherer AHP have a Band 7/8a locum Mental Health Pharmacist opportunity based with a hospital service in the Bedfordshire area, for Locum Band 7/8a Pharmacists to join the mental health ward team from mid May/June (immediate start!)
PLEASE NOTE previous hospital wards experience is requirement for this role, but not necesserily within the mental health sector.
The role will be to cover the various mental health wards of the service, and complete the clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing, this will be a predominantly ward based post with minimal dispensary cover needed.
In most cases, the role holder will be the responsible point of contact for the customer, providing a clear channel of communication and preventing further dissatisfaction.
The role holder will take overall responsibility and a holistic approach to ensuring that complaints are responded to appropriately, within agreed timeframes, questioning actions, proposing service and system improvements, and supporting managers and teams.
