DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting Decision Making: Work with Directors to develop clear and concise materials for Trustee Board, Council, and Nomination Committee (NOMCO) meetings.
You will be responsible for managing the governance team, while ensuring effective support is provided to the Trustee Board and Council.

Key Responsibilities of the Governance Manager Role
Oversee the election processes for members to join important boards and committees.
Provide committee secretariat support to boards and working groups, preparing agendas and papers in advance, taking minutes, and working closely with leads to arrange meeting schedules.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Governance Manager in the charity sector, however line management experience is not a requirement in this role.
We are currently working in partnership with a leading national federated support charity based in East London, who are recruiting for a Governance and Risk Manager on a one year fixed term contract.
This is a full-time position and is offering three days/week WFH and two days/week onsite and a salary band of £47,043 - £52,835 per annum (subject to experience).
