The Role
To provide a wide range of professional Gas related skills throughout all contracts serviced by Building Services, and where appropriate, to take a lead role when working as a team or in conjunction with other trades (up to 5 others).

We are looking after are in need of domestic Gas engineers - Self Employed/ Sub contracting to cover all areas of ME Postcode on a Self Employed basis.
The ideal Candidate will have 5 to 10 years Breakdown experience
To undertake highly skilled activities across a wide range of Gas related jobs in domestic properties, ensuring that the quality of works meet current, Gas Safety (Installation and use) Regulations 1998 requirements.
Purpose of job
To keep accurate records of works undertaken and materials used.
The Mechanical Engineer will handle the mechanical design of packaged equipment, including structural steel, pressure vessels, and piping.
Preferably specialised in Structural Design Engineering, with expertise in pressure vessel calculations and piping stress analysis, you will design or collaborate with contractors to define and review design packages.
You will also provide design inputs, manage design issues, and interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and third parties.

Devonport/Bristol - Mostly Remote (Once on-site in a month)
Manage several projects simultaneously, ensure equipment and materials are procured and received on schedule, manage and engage with suppliers and fabricators, inspect and test equipment, compile and check drawings and documentation.
Manage equipment supply projects from initial design, through procurement, manufacture, inspection and testing, to delivery, construction and commissioning.
Ensure that projects meet agreed budget, schedule, safety and performance targets, and comply with all applicable legislation.
