The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the technical operations and business strategies within our food manufacturing sites at Chichester Food Park. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to ensure the efficient production of high-quality food products, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the company's strategic goals. Natures Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and "food-to-go" for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe. Overview HYGIENE OPERATIVE - MERSTON SITE - NIGHT SHIFT Salary: £23,506 Location: PO20 1NW Shift allowance: £2,266 Are you ready to play a crucial role in food manufacturing industry? We're on the lookout for diligent individuals to join us as Hygiene Operatives. Your role will involve ensuring our production runs smoothly by conducting daily and deep cleaning tasks following strict procedures and safety guidelines. Responsibilities Why Us? We are a leading manufacturer of fresh convenient food. As demand for our products continues to soar, we're expanding our team to ensure we maintain our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. As a Hygiene Operative, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping our facilities pristine and our production lines running seamlessly. What You will do: Undertake scheduled hygiene daily & deep cleaning tasks following Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines. Clean areas and equipment to the highest standards, ensuring minimal downtime between production runs. Input data into hygiene records accurately to maintain compliance. Communicate effectively with section managers regarding equipment defects and safety concerns. Safely handle chemicals and use equipment following training protocols. Ability to work effectively at pace and perform manual handling tasks. Commitment to following health and safety procedures rigorously. In addition to your salary, a shift allowance of £2,266 per annum is provided. Qualifications All you need is the right to work in the UK.
