Your new company Hays are exclusively representing a FMCG company in County Antrim to recruit a Marketing Manager. This is a newly created role in an expanding company. Your new role As Marketing Manager you will work closely with NPD and Sales and you will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility, promoting products, and expanding market reach. Your responsibilities will include: Formulate and execute a holistic marketing plan that aligns with organisational goals, encompassing product introductions, seasonal campaigns, and continuous brand enhancement. Partner with product development teams to leverage market insights and consumer preferences, ensuring successful product positioning. Collaborate with sales teams to boost growth through customised marketing strategies that support major clients and retail collaborations. Direct efforts in product positioning and brand consistency across all communication channels. Oversee the design of product packaging and promotional materials. Manage the entire product launch process, from initial concept to market introduction and post-launch evaluation. Conduct research to gain insights into consumer behaviour, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in various product categories. Utilise sales data and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies. Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website, social media, and email Create engaging content such as blog posts, product narratives, and customer success stories to highlight product quality and versatility. Coordinate with external partners, including agencies, freelancers, and influencers, to support digital marketing efforts. Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital, and in-store channels to support key sales periods. Track and report on campaign performance. Work with retailers and distributors on collaborative marketing efforts. Oversee and manage the marketing budget Monitor marketing expenses, providing monthly financial reports and adjusting plans as necessary to stay within budget. Serve as the main point of contact between marketing, product development, and sales teams What you'll need to succeed 5 years of Marketing experience in a marketing role, ideally within FMCG Demonstrated success in launching products and executing effective marketing campaigns. Proven ability to work collaboratively with NPD and Sales teams to achieve business goals. Strong skills in communication, leadership, and project management. Expertise with digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and Google Analytics Innovative thinker with a keen eye for market trends and opportunities. Marketing budget management experience Desirable: Degree qualified in related field Knowledge of the manufacturing industry Demonstrable experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple deadlines.
