We help care for and support young people who have complex needs and specialise in the communication and learning challenges associated with Autism. The site is situation within Norfolk's picturesque and tranquil countryside, close to the town of Banham. Due to the location, it would be beneficial for candidates to have a driving licence. The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each pupil's potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. Climbing Arborist - Grounds Maintenance £33,000 per annum Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk Permanent, Full Time Our client has an opportunity for a Climbing Arborist to join their Grounds Maintenace team to maintain all trees and open spaces / green infrastructure of all their managed areas to a high standard. Key responsibilities include: Maintain all trees and open spaces to the recognised standard using powered hand tools, chippers and stump grinders. Plan and organise aerial tree work operations, including risk assessment, tree condition assessment and equipment inspection. Undertake sectional felling, pruning, planting and grounds maintenance duties, including equipment maintenance as required. Please see the full list of responsibilities on the Role Profile attached. Their ideal candidate will have: Relevant experience and knowledge in all types of arboricultural and grounds maintenance (green space) work. Relevant experience of working with powered hand tools (Chainsaws, Brush cutters, hedge cutters, blowers) and arboricultural plant, including ride-on mowers. A recognised Arboricultural qualification level 2 or 3 (City and Guilds) or equivalent. Holds all Lantra/NPTC qualifications up to and including unit 309 (Aerial Tree Rigging). Holds a IPAF (B1, B1 Static Boom) and NPTC Units PA1 PA6, would be advantageous. Able to work as part of a team and also able to work independently without the need for close supervision. Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed deadlines. Ability to use a mobile device (mobile phone/tablet) to manage workload, send and receive emails, access apps and MS Teams for meetings / training. Full, current, valid driving licence with B E Trailer entitlement or equivalent.
