Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting SONE Products Ltd, a market leading specialist in the design and manufacture of plastic packs for liquids with their search for a Production Manager.
Overall Purpose
To lead and manage the company's production assembly areas alongside the logistics, quality, production control and engineering departments, whilst delivering a progressive learning environment, ensuring the company operates in a safe manner to meet the demands of the customer, on time, within cost and to the required quality standard.
The role is part of the senior management team with the key objective of implementing continuous improvements within a fast-moving flexible environment with direction from the Board of Directors.
This is a newly created role which is pivotal to the success of the business.
The role will report to the Employment and Skills Director, but will interact with managers and staff across the whole organisation and will create reports on the area of responsibility for both Senior Management and Governance meetings.
The role requires a detailed, focused individual who has the goals and mission of the organisation at the heart of everything they do.
Responsible for the mechanical / electrical maintenance of production lines and manufacturing site in accordance with product standards and specifications, to achieve required outputs.
To provide a professional, high quality multi-skilled (electro-mechanical) engineering service following adequate training on the equipment.

To maintain production equipment so that is fit for purpose, with minimal downtime.
