We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager/Deputy Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join this unique and exciting but extremely complex organisation based in the heart of London. In this exciting senior Financial Planning & Analysis leadership role, you will manage, motivate and develop the Management Accounting and Financial Analysis teams, to deliver and prepare core management accounting and reporting duties to support and ensure all core management accounting and reporting services are complete to improve financial reporting and planning across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the post holder will lead a team that provide key management accounting, financial analysis and reporting services. Your daily duties will include: Lead together with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis on Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis across all the entities of this multi-faceted organisation. Lead, motivate and manage the Management Accounting and Analysis team to provide a consistent and high-quality financial planning and analysis service to all stakeholders. Ensuring the delivery of timely, insightful and accurate financial reporting to each of the entities. Responsible for grant management and reporting activities, acting as Finance Lead for all grant streams across all the entities. Ensure that clear and consistent processes and procedures are in place for different grant streams across the wider organisation. Oversee the Management Accounting and Analysis team to ensure grants are correctly accounted for, including their initial setup, ongoing monitoring and reporting. Establishing standardised grants processes across a range of major grant programmes. Driving the agenda of continual improvement and innovation, keeping pace with developments in best practice to promote excellence and efficiency in financial reporting. Work collaboratively with the finance leadership team to provide high quality seamless Finance support to each entity with the organisation and maintaining a broad range of stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will be an ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant with significant post qualified experience in a similar role from within a complex multi-faceted organisation. You must be a strong manager of people, both direct reports and senior stakeholders, with a customer and delivery focussed approach. You primarily will take responsibility for the finance planning and reporting across the organisation with a track record of solving problems and improving processes and procedures. In this key role it is essential that you have strong systems and data manipulation experience to provide first class support to support senior stakeholders with key business decisions. You must possess first class interpersonal, communication and presentation skills for this role.
