We are seeking a proactive and experienced Financial Controller to join the team immediately. Our client is in search of a proficient and seasoned Financial Controller to promptly take the helm on an interim basis, with the potential for permanent placement pending success. Given the lack of a handover, the chosen candidate should showcase adaptability in comprehending and analysing the current Excel files sourced from Sage. Key responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller will include: Produce quarterly management accounts. Conduct manual stock valuation using the computerised stock system. Generate regular cash flow forecasts. Manage the monthly payroll process outsourced to an external bureau. Oversee accounting staff (Sales & Purchase Ledger). Undertake ad-hoc projects as required. The successful Interim Financial Controller: Experience in a similar financial management role, preferably in an SME environment. Resourcefulness and ability to work autonomously without a handover. Familiarity with Sage software and computerised stock systems preferred. A car is essential due to working from various sites.
