This role has been created to work closely with the Finance Director in order to redesign/reshape the Group's reporting function. An ideal move for a recently Qualified ACA/ACCA Auditor or Financial Accountant, you will have broad set of responsibilities which will develop further over time. Main duties will consist of; Preparation of consolidated accounts 15 entities Management of fixed asset register Ownership of groups balance sheet Oversee month end close & journal postings Main point of contact for external auditors Improve current procedures Management accounts production alongside the Finance Manager Provide sound advice to the CFO and MD Develop a strong reporting timetable Candidate profile Ideally suited to an Audit trained ACA/ACCA looking to move into industry Strong technical background High level of attention to detail Comfortable being flexible and adapting to new requirements when they are presented
Heyland Recruitment are pleased to be working with a successful and expanding services company based in Chester who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to further bolster their Credit Control Team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will play a key role supporting the Management Accountant and wider finance team with financial information that facilitates decision making. Main duties and responsibilities Proactively manage and collect debts, actively chasing outstanding payments and invoices via various channels including telephone and email Maintain accurate client accounts on the finance system Produce and send credit agent statements monthly and follow up on any queries promptly Produce reports to upload on to various payment collection systems and monitor for non-payment on a timely basis Review banking systems for receipt of payments and allocate to booking system promptly Arranging client payments over the phone ensuring they are taken accurately / sending payment link emails promptly and produce receipts if requested Monitor and report on debt balances and overdue accounts to minimise risk to the business Manage client invoicing issues and disputes, communicating with the relevant departments to come to a satisfactory conclusion Escalate difficult accounts, overdue balances or issues and make suggestions for resolution Review and process refunds according to the processes in place Process Travel Agent and Hotel commission invoices.
