I am working with an excellent business who is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our team on a hybrid working basis. Your team that you will be managing is based in Crowborough and London, so your office days will be split between both locations. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the production and analysis of month-end (and annual) management and financial accounts, along with all associated activities. Key Responsibilities Report to the UK Financial Controller, managing the month-end process to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, variance analysis, and cash flow. Conduct in-depth reviews of results, focusing on variance analysis versus budget and prior year, and perform Balance Sheet analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities. Line manage a team of approximately one direct and three indirect reports, overseeing, mentoring, and coaching staff such as the Assistant Accountant. Oversee statutory reporting, including statutory accounts, annual returns, tax submissions, and VAT for the UK and other markets. Support the UK Financial Controller, EMEA Accountant, and EMEA Controller with ad-hoc tasks and analysis. What is in it for you? Comprehensive benefits package.
