The Role of Field Service Engineer This is a field based role and we are looking for a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer where you will be tasked with visiting customers servicing, repairing and demonstrating commercial cleaning machines in line with SLA's. As a Field Service Engineer you will carry out reactive repair and service visits as well as some planned maintenance visits. The role of Field Service Engineer is: To provide effective and technically competent breakdown and preventative maintenance services to products and systems at a variety of customer sites. 80% servicing pressure washers and floor care machines 20% servicing road sweeper municipal machinary. To identify and communicate to customers, solutions and problems they encounter with the performance of their equipment such as repair and maintenance. To identify changes to individual customer contracts in terms of equipment covered, customer contact information and site requirements and feedback of such information. To ensure that any customer reports are completed professionally, and the outcome and recommendations of any visit. Provide customer with advice to ensure they are maximizing the potential of their machines. The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer Experience as a Field Service Engineer (Electro mechanical or electrical or mechanical) Experience servicing equipment such as industrial machines, municipal equipment, plant hire, capital equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy automotive, light automotive, cleaning machines, FLT Forklift Trucks, horticultural / agricultural machinery material handing MHE, White Goods etc are of interest. Generating leads from service visits for the sales team to follow up. Accurately completing and submitting all service electronic paperwork after each site visit, via tablet. Attend monthly service meetings via teams and quarterly meetings at Midlands Head Office. Monthly stock take report provided to Operations.
