Manage a complex caseload of disabled children and young people aged 0-25 to assess, plan, monitor and review the support/personal assistance needs of service users, working in a person-centred way to ensure that resources are utilised effectively to safeguard and promote the welfare of disabled children and young people.
Provide a consultative/supervisory service to a staff team operating within a multi-agency environment to provide professional expertise, skills and advice to enable a safe, effective and high quality service to disabled children and young people that meets agreed existing and new policies and practices.
The post holder should be working in line with the Social Care Capability Framework.
Your role in the team would involve providing administrative support service to Managers and Qualified Social Work staff and to assist in the smooth running of the Reception and Safe Care Service's Social Work Teams.

Duties and Responsibilities include
Produce all types of word processing, from handwritten and recorded sources, drafting routine.
To lead a staff group of Residential Support Workers, while acting as a corporate parent to the unaccompanied asylum-seeking children we care for, to ensure the children are protected and cared for until they move to a more permanent home.
Assist the Registered Manager in discharging their duties under the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted Regulations including the quality standards.
