Warrington Council are looking for a Family Support Worker to join their team.
The successful candidate will be working 37 hours a week over flexible working between the hours of 9 and 6, to support children and families to have supervised family time.
Responsibilities
Assigned to a family and remain with them for the duration of their session.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Support worker to join our Multi-disciplinary team in a pilot project delivered in partnership with Right to Succeed to re-think how we deliver support and interventions to children and families.
The team are located in the area and have close alignment with the Family Hub.
Assist the Families Together Team to deliver outreach and support services to referred families, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective service.
General
Work within the Families Together Team and alongside partner agencies within Children and Families to plan interventions that will improve outcomes for children and young people.
Work directly with parents and children to deliver the interventions, offering advice, support and guidance and promoting positive parenting.
