The role Our client is looking to recruit a full-time or part-time administrator for their busy Administration Department. Working in an open and collaborative environment as a key member of their talented team, this is a responsible, interesting position right at the heart of the Company. Your average day might include: Reconciling payments into the Company Liaising with Product Providers regarding payments New business processing support General administration support for the Adviser Team Routine maintenance of databases Participation in strategic project work General telephone & email enquiries Liaising with clients Essential Requirements Passionate and detail oriented - always crossing the 'T's and dotting the 'I's. Great people skills - adaptable and agile with your approach to others. Persistent - you see things through to completion. Quick to learn and understand. Extensive office administration experience. Ability to identify & prioritise tasks to meet required timescales. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Experience of accurately maintaining databases & spreadsheets. It would be great if you also have (but it's not essential as full training is provided) Experience in a financial services or wealth management environment. Experience of working with the Intelligent Office System (IO). Experience of working in an environment adhering to the FCA principles. Experience of working with client sensitive information within the requirements of the Data Protection Act. Pay, pension & benefits £28,00 -£30,000 (pro-rata for part-time) 35-hour week (finishing at 3 pm on Wednesdays) or 20 hours Part-time Pension scheme 20 days holiday per year (plus all bank holidays) in addition to an extra day for each year of service As well as regular internal training sessions, you'll be given the opportunity and funding to study towards industry recognised professional qualifications Our client is one of the UK's leading independent financial advisers.
