Do you have a keen interest in sustainability, and making a positive change within the company?Join Safestore as an Environmental Reporting Intern this Summer!This internship will run from 03/06/2024-30/08/2024.This 3-month Summer Internship is a hybrid role, based in our Head Office in Borehamwood, which will, on occasion, require you to travel to some of our additional sites.The salary for this position is £25,100 (pro rata).We are currently recruiting for a second year university student to join our team, to analyse, report and produce actionable points for how Safestore can continue to commit to our climate-based goals, and ultimately, reduce our carbon emissions.
We are looking for someone who can support and enable the development of a group wide framework to deliver accurate and on-time data collection and analysis.Our ideal candidate would also have a keen interest and knowledge in the environment, CSR, data analysis, problem solving and commercial real estate.

You will ensure that an organisation is operating in accordance with environmental guidelines and targets.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that sustainable practices are embedded throughout Charity operations.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities (HOF), you will be a key contributor to the Charity's Environment & Sustainability Development agenda, leading the development of the Charity's Environmental Management System, Carbon Management Plan, and Sustainability and Travel Plans.
