You will undertake duties including Identify the reason for the visit, Provide access and support to customers if appropriate. Key Responsibilities: Proactively engage with all those visiting the library during Libraries Unlocked hours. Be visible and accessible to customers at the main door to the building. Be responsive to customer demand, multi-tasking to achieve results in at busy times. Provide directional guidance, but not specific business advice. Keep in regular contact with other Security Officers for DWP by two-way radio or other communication systems where preferred by the site. Each Customer Service Team will need to decide on a method of alerting each other to cope with situations/ incidents as and when they arise. To secure the building or parts of the building as required and requested at the end of shift. In all contacts the postholder will be required to present a good image of the County Council and DWP as well as maintaining constructive relationships. The role involves the day-to-day administration of accommodation and operational support for the Cambridge Education Group (ONCAMPUS and Managed Campus) portfolio. The role involves responsibility for assisting with the administration of Accommodation and Guardianship bookings for students and that these processes are carried out within turnaround times.
