The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems, particularly those involving pumping systems and electric motors.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our products and systems.
You will work on a broad range of civil engineering and structural assets, from landside assets such as bridges and roadways, to marine assets such as piers, quays and breakwaters.
You will be part of a team responsible for acting as internal consultants to the rest of the Engineering department and the wider business, reviewing designs and specifications to ensure they are aligned to statutory and best practice approaches.
You will oversee a programme of condition inspections, reporting on inspection findings, and applying your critical judgement to plan an efficient programme of maintenance and repairs that push forward the sustainability agenda.
