The Role: Tech Lead (Software Engineering Manager)

You'll be leading a team of talented developers and collaborate closely with the Product Manager to develop innovative solutions across a Full Stack range of technology.
To deliver support to the activities of the Transformer Engineering Department, to meet forecasted delivery of Transformers and Engineering Department Objectives.
Oversee team activities, be a business point of contact, represent the team and stand in for the Mechanical Design Manager when required.
To design, prepare & complete documentation packages including drawings in 3D CAD & PDM for Power Transformers.
Responsible for the production of Protection Engineering drawings/documents (Schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable block diagrams, cable schedules, core sheets, key line diagrams and panel layouts and arrangements) and checking against Design Specifications, programme, budget and to the appropriate quality and health and safety requirements.
Process Analysis: Be responsible for the evaluation of current engineering processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives within the Brush Group, commencing with the engineering department.
This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and monitoring outcomes to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation.
