£50,800 + Monday to Friday (8am - 4:30pm) + Overtime Available at Premium Rate + 1 in 4 Call-out Rota + Training Available + Support to Gain Industry Qualifications
Are you a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with experience working on automation systems and facilities maintenance?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established design and manufacturing company, leading the close-knit site maintenance team in a role with high responsibility where you will oversee the site and management of projects.
This specialist manufacturer has been established for 20+ years and is renowned throughout the Leicestershire area for its design and manufacturing of components and systems for the electrical appliance industry.
In this role you will oversee operations of the site, ensure projects are being worked toward deadlines, and liaise with Directors on progress updates. Additionally, you will maintain the standards of the site and work through log requests.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with a good understanding of automation maintenance and facilities management, along with management experience. The company is happy to invest in the training of the candidate in attaining relevant industry qualifications such as the 18th edition.

The Role
- Overseeing project list to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain high standard of operations across the site
- Management of a close-knit team of 7
- Liaise with Operations Director
- Be hands-on across the site when cover is needed

- Skilled Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
- Automation maintenance experience
- Facilities Maintenance experience
- Management experience
- Relevant industry qualifications (desirable but not essential)
