Role Responsibilities The incoming Legal Secretary or Paralegal will be working closely with the solicitors in the property department, assisting with a varied caseload. Your day to day responsibilities will include: Handling enquiries from clients and providing quotes Undertaking AML checks Drafting letters Preparing legal documents including client care letters, Land Registry Applications and Stamp Duty returns Carrying out searches Preparing contract packs Liaising and building relationships with clients and third parties Preparing bills Managing files including carrying out closure procedures and archiving Other general administration to support the team as required Person Specification Applications are sought from Legal Secretaries or Paralegals with strong and demonstrable experience in a residential or commercial property department. AJ Chambers represents a highly supportive International Law Firm based in Guildford who are seeking a Legal PA. This is a float PA position, giving you exposure to different areas of law and a wide range of Partners and Fee Earners.
