Responsibilities
Perform acceptance testing on electro-optical-mechanical components, subassemblies, assemblies, and systems using standard test equipment like power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
Accurately record test results, report issues to the engineering team, and conduct fault diagnosis for production or design problems.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design solutions, for electrical systems to be integrated into existing mechanical and electrical vehicles and equipment, ensuring they meet ATEX requirements, using your hands on skills as well as your AutoCAD abilities.

Multinational semiconductor manufacturer with a large well established global client base are looking for an Electrical CAD Engineer with a minimum 2 years post qualification, HNC Electronics, or related discipline, experience in PLC programming and electrical switch gear ideally with knowledge of Solidworks Electrical and Mitsubishi GUI's.
You will be responsible for production of manufacturing electrical schematics, generation of BOM's, be a reliable point of reference though build and test cycles, liaise with project managers, customers, site engineers and PLC programmers as well as attend planning meetings and maintain technical construction files for ongoing projects.
You will also possess first class spoken and written communications skills and effective planning and organisational abilities.
The successful Development Engineer will be qualified in a relevant discipline with experience and knowledge of high voltage requirements, will have the skills to develop power supply designs and will be keen to gain design experience and knowledge.
The role will involve
Develop and modify high voltage power conversion products and associated equipment to meet agreed specifications.
Liaise with engineers and review customer specifications to understand required unit performance.
