Key Responsibilities: Lead a dynamic engineering team, overseeing projects from concept to delivery. Drive repair, overhaul, and development of aerospace and industrial components. Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution. Innovate and improve repair processes while managing new product introductions. Ensure all projects meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in an engineering role, ideally within MRO or aerospace (highly desirable). Line management experience and team leadership skills (essential). Hands-on experience with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aircraft components (highly desirable). Skilled in root cause analysis and failure investigations (8D, 5 Why, FMEA). Proven expertise in test tooling and rig design (highly desirable). Strong understanding of technical drawings and documentation (essential). Familiarity with 2D & 3D CAD (Fusion 360) and FEA software (highly desirable). Experience in New Product Development and Sustaining Engineering, with a track record of on-time, within-budget project delivery (highly desirable). Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques. Strong understanding of AS9100, CAA/EASA & FAA Part 145 standards and regulations (essential). Qualifications & Competencies: Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline (HNC/HND with extensive experience is acceptable). Solid knowledge of safe working practices and EHS requirements. Strong communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to navigate cultural differences and communicate technical information to different audiences. Excellent organizational and project planning skills, able to handle multiple priorities. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
