Our client, a respected global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, is looking for a skilled Metal Finishing Technician to join their Ramsgate-based team. This is a full-time, permanent role with ample opportunities for training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply expertise in Chrome, Nickel, Cadmium, Silver, Tin, Copper, Phosphate, Heat Treatment, Non-Destructive Testing, and other finishing processes
- Perform electroplating, aqueous cleaning, degreasing, and masking on a wide range of components
- Monitor stock levels for chemicals and consumables to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with routine machine maintenance and contribute to team training initiatives
- Support process improvement initiatives and adhere to industry-standard quality assurance regulations
- Undertake other reasonable tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in metal finishing or a similar engineering role
- Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the company
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting
