There's not many more important people in the print process than the Client Services team. Yes everyone in the process all adds to the collective but as a Client Service Executive, you're the one that pulls the print process from concept through to completion. Here, you're valued and given the credibility you deserve. The new business hunters know that they'd be lost without you, the production team know that they wouldn't be busy without you and the client loves you from the service you provide to them. See, I told you you're integral. This role is all about pulling the strings. You take the brief from the client, guide them through the print process and once that's done, you do everything you need to do internally. Load onto the system, brief creative, push through to production, despatch all along liaising with sales and the customer directly. Sounds simple eh, but coming from the print world, you know it's anything but. You'll need to know your stuff. The ability to guide through the process comes with your knowledge of the print industry. If you've done a similar, all encompassing job in a different sector, it is something we could look at too but it's important that you're not a wallflower. Your clients are depending on you to get there print projects into store and as you can imagine, being a strong willed and progressive personality will help with this. You'll be joining a long standing team with a manager who is highly regarded. They've been with the business for 6 years and progressed nicely into the Client Services Manager. An illustration of progression, if that's what you want. For me, the best thing about this role is that you get to work with some pretty well known and prestigious organisations. Customers will range from leading retailers through to sports clubs and attraction parks and even this business has been known to produce print for the royal family no less! The work is what you'd typically class as "large format" so the smallest is 1.6m wide through to 5m wide print. Think interior branding, building wraps, exhibition displays, flags, banners through the works. I'm sure when you see your work out in public, you'll be proud as punch to tell the people you are with that you produced those graphics. You don't need a CV to be considered for this or any other job in the print industry you might be looking at, for me, it all starts with a conversation so if you're reading this and fancy a chat about this or any other role in the industry you want, then give us a call and ask for Matt.
You love working with data. Industry experience isn't essential (it would certainly help though) what is vital is that you love numbers. You're analytical. You're commercial and above all, a decent human. Everything else, your new place will teach you. You'll be joining an evolving business. It's agile and always looking for ways to improve. It's a multi-site business with 14 locations across the country. It's an impressive setup, and the work they do is award-winning. In fact, the company is award-winning, being voted the best in their industry for 30 members of staff. You're in a safe pair of hands. Working with some of the biggest brands globally across entertainment, construction & retail, this Multi-Million-pound revenue business are at the forefront of delivering printed media that millions of eyes will see. Client Services, Sales, Production, Studio, and you in the Estimating department all work together. Internal collaboration and communication develop a customer's idea/vision into reality. The scope is wide, from Construction Hoardings and building Wraps to Stadium Banners and flags to Retail displays and window graphics. Your work will be everywhere to be seen. Sitting centrally in the whole process and your involvement is key at pivotal points of the workflow. You'll be good at communicating, working across teams and handling tasks under pressure. If you're not already an experienced Estimator from the world of Print, Graphics or Signage, you'll quickly become an expert. Every quote will build your knowledge of the materials, the installs, the substrates, the H&S requirements, etc. So to be a quick learner if the experience isn't there is essential. You're a vital cog in the machine that transforms ideas into reality. Your internal communication, your commercial ability to price and produce quotes to your ability to analyse and report on trends and data will all come into play. This is a key role, you'll be hugely valued. This is your opportunity to join a business that has 30 years of experience but as the ambition and drive to evolve and be better than ever. I've worked with this business for 15 years. I know them inside out. You'll have questions about this role and what's in it for you. I'll happily answer and guide you through the process. No CV is needed to have a conversation so get in touch if this is something you're interested in.
