The Deputy Team Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of social workers and their work products.
The post holder will take an active part in networking with NHS trust colleagues and form part of the management team overseeing team performance and attending regular discharge review meetings, updating the acute trust about discharge plans and responding to system escalations as pressures on acute trusts increase.
This includes providing social work practice guidance and management oversight relating to case progression and management of - often complex - discharges, complaints and disputes, safeguarding and mental capacity.
You will be part of a small efficient team of operators on a continuous production line process, working to achieve the required level of production output, while ensuring that all significant requirements are met.
You will be required to operate one of the company's many machines, with a view to becoming multi skilled across the many production processes within the company.
