The Role They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Administrator to join their dynamic, reactive Projects team. Responsibilities: Review quotes to onboard the client Responsible for ordering materials related to the projects Working closely with sub contractors and ensuring they have access to sites Ensuring all remedial works are delegated to the relevant teams to ensure delivery is in place for the client Once work is completed, ensure invoices are sent to the client Work closely to set targets and KPI's in relation to all reactive works Work with the remedial estimating team to identify delivery model (direct or sub-con) before quoting to ensure best place model once quote is won. Responsibilities New product development for MVHR ventilation systems used in housing, apartments, and hotels Contribute to design reviews acting with knowledge of design for manufacturability, design for testability, yield improvements, supplier capabilities assessments, quality control, and market research Prepare engineering documentation necessary for the transition from design to manufacture including engineering drawings, assembly instructions, test procedures, standard operating procedures, wiring diagrams, BOMs and mechanical drawings Lead continuous improvement efforts of established products Update designs in response to manufacturing issues, parts obsolescence, and system requirement changes Point of contact for production team for non-conforming products, troubleshooting, root cause, failure investigations and corrective actions Remain updated with advancements in manufacturing techniques, software, materials, equipment, standards and regulations Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (2:1) or similar Approximately 5 years working in engineering industry Experience designing complete systems across all stages of a design project from initial concept and modelling through to prototype, production, and launch Experience using SolidWorks or other similar 3D modelling package e.g. Inventor Broad range of experience working with different materials e.g. plastic injection moulding, vacuum forming, EPS, EPP, sheet metal Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in production of mechanical or electrical hardware systems Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing as part of a cross-functional team Experience in project planning Ability to create and deliver presentations for design and manufacturing readiness reviews Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration an advantage Full clean driving licence Personal Qualities Hands-on engineer with a passion for continuous improvement Good research skills and efficient at extracting information Capable of solving complex problems on schedule with little supervision Capable of working as an individual or as a member of an integrated team, with a collaborative mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Critical thinking and anticipation of results
