Secondary school cover teachers (also known as an unqualified teachers) will work within secondary schools in the Sheffiled area to provide cover for a class when a teacher is not available.
They may also cover lessons for short periods of time for teachers who are away from school due to sickness or for other absences.
They are employed on a flexible and day-to-day basis to ensure that a teacher can have time away from the classroom to carry out other duties (PPA time, training days etc.).
Secondary Cover Supervisors (also known as Cover Teachers) are used in secondary schools to provide cover for a class when a teacher is not available.
If you are looking to get into teaching and you wish to build on your own experience of working with young people in a secondary school setting, becoming a General Cover Supervisor is a great and ideal opportunity to utilise and build upon your communication and behaviour management skills.
They are employed on a flexible basis and their main responsibility is to manage classroom behaviours and to ensure that all students remain on task.
Lead Cover Supervisor / Classroom Assistantwho has the ability to work as part of a team and learn new skills, with excellent verbal and written communication is required for an Academy Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.
