Cover Supervisor | Nottingham, NG17 | £105 - £130 Per Day | September 2024
LTF Recruitment are seeking a dynamic individual to join a welcoming secondary school located in the Nottingham NG17 area as a Cover Supervisor. As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for covering lessons and providing effective student support.
This is a full time position based in one school, whereby the succesful candidate will be expected to cover pre-planned lessons, in a variety of subjects, to secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the classroom teacher
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and on task
- Manage behaviour according to school policies, fostering a positive classroom environment
- Support the learning and development of students
- Support the learning and general wellbeing of students, adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity in the learning process
Person Specification:
- Previous experience of working with secondary aged students (ages 11 - 16 years)
- Prior experience within a educational setting or working with young people in a similar capacity
