Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the candidate will play an integral part of the team supporting on key functions within the department including raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to ensure parts are delivered when required, ensure traceability and Quality Assurance
Of purchased parts, liaising with production to update status on materials and transact on priorities, liaise with Stores, Shipping and Finance to resolve any queries, communicate well with suppliers and internal customers, supporting master data updates and some administrative duties.
Working closely with the site services manager, the successful candidate will be a motivated individual who is able to organise and manage the logistics of the field services team, and also the staff that are utilised under sub-contract services from supporting companies.
The program of scheduled work is fluid and often changes hourly hence the need for an individual to demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
The logistics of projects include documentation, equipment hire, accommodation, travel and training.
