You will be responsible for leading the Commercial Finance business insights, support and partnering. Your role will involve providing weekly trading updates, leading indicators, and performance against plan. Bi-annually, you will engage in plan reviews and modelling, presenting your findings to the board. You will also take charge of client renewals and mid-term drop-off reporting; collaborating with the Customer Success team to optimise performance. A significant part of your role will involve taking ownership of Commercial Sales and Customer Success reporting. You possess advanced Excel skills and are adept at Excel modelling. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a finance or mathematics qualification such as CIMA / ACA or ACCA. You have a high level of accuracy with a keen eye for detail. Your ability to highlight trends using data to support decisions sets you apart from others. You are proactive, with a strong desire to make a difference. Your proven business partnering communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels will be key to your success in this role. Finance Manager Location: Salford- with hybrid working Salary: circa £50,000- £58,000 We are currently supporting an organisation who are looking to appoint a professional, experienced Finance Manager, reporting to the Head of Finance. As an integral and proactive member of the finance team, you will have responsibility for leading the finance business partnering, providing comprehensive monthly management accounts and play a pivotal role in budget setting, quarterly forecasts and the financial year end. Responsibilities include: Oversee the production of the management accounts and quarterly forecast- highlight variances and advise appropriate actions Assist with annual budgeting Lead on the preparation of financial reporting, both internal and external Lead on the preparation of the statutory financial accounts and be a key point of contact with the external audit throughout the year end process Acting as the lead business partner and a key adviser to budget holders on financial issues You will have a strong background in management accounting, but also have proven technical financial accounting skills. Experience in the production of the annual statutory accounts and liaising with external audit is desirable. The successful candidate will be a qualfied Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have considerable experience operating in a similar role. You must demonstrate the ability to lead a comprehensive financial management service and team, and advise on financial matters. You will have considerable drive, a proactive can-do attitude, and be positive about change and innovation, and be able to drive forward system and process improvements.
