Position Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our residential developments. You will be responsible for cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying within the house-building sector and excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: Cost Planning and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for residential projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications. Value Engineering: Conduct regular cost reviews and value engineering assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies. Procurement Management: Manage the procurement process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, tracking variations and ensuring that any changes are documented and agreed upon.
