You will be responsible with all aspects of pre and post contract quantity surveying services by monitoring all internal and external planned maintenance as the client.
This post will carry out effective Quantity Surveying support in relation to the financial management of contractors delivering all aspects of maintenance contracts.

Duties of the Quantity Surveyor
Take the lead in the commercial management of planned, compliance and sustainability investment work programmes ensuring full ownership of all financial matters to the schemes appointed to lead.

Responsibilities for the Sub Agent
Knowledge and experience of railway stations, PCC platforms desirable, experience as CRE desirable.
Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of railway construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Set out and determine the location for infrastructural installations and apply designs and plans to provide engineering assistance to site activities.
Perform engineering and the technical advisor role for the packages of work that are assigned to you or within your allocated section of the scheme, providing engineering direction to subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives within your area of responsibility.
Manage a team of graduates and apprentices, providing direction, guidance and mentoring; building effective relationships and support junior staff in their development.
You will also support Project Managers and Health and Safety Managers with general administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations on-site.
In this role, you will provide essential operational support to on-site project managers, engineers, and project teams, ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects.
