Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs and policies across all restaurant locations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with operations teams to identify and address compliance issues and implement corrective actions. Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters, including health and safety protocols, food handling procedures, and company policies. Monitor and report on compliance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Work closely with management to develop strategies for continuous improvement in operational compliance. The ideal candidate: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or compliance within the quick service restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements for the food service industry. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Manager to join the Assets Management and Safety team for a large housing association based in Birmingham. The role will involve developing and implementing the Asset Management Strategy and overseeing the delivery of cost-effective strategies to manage the assets and ensure the safety of the properties. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership for the Asset Investment, Compliance and Safety team ensuring effective management of resources, services and people. Lead the team in the effective maintenance, investment and performance of the organisation assets and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Take responsibility for the organisation's stock investment programme and ensure it is appropriately funded. Support in the development and implementation of the energy appraisal systems. Ensure effective performance monitoring, lifecycle costing techniques and quality management or planned maintenance programmes. Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations and legislative requirements, developing and implementing safe working practices. Lead on the effective procurement and management for all contractors. Ensuring procedures are in place for monitoring and auditing of contracts. The ideal candidate will have: Hold a degree or professional qualification in a related subject and membership of a professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS and IOSH Comprehensive knowledge of building and safety legislation, standards and best practice relating to Social Housing Experience and expertise in preparing and presenting executive level reports Managed significant budgets and developed long-term financial investment forecasts Interested in this role?
