PCB Production Operator: To undertake mechanical production tasks, which includes the use of small hand tools, mechanical drivers, test and calibration equipment Hand solder PCBA's including rework PTH and SMT components Solder parts for the Aviation industry Be able understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP's) To achieve the targets and quality standards set out by Production Management. To work efficiently and effectively as an individual or as part of a team. Have the ability to work with cross functional and mixed ability teams. Provide daily support to meet customer's daily expectations Ensure that time and quality is of the essence in every activity. Accept that teamwork is a fundamental part of your job. Be flexible enough to comply with all reasonable requests asked of you. Ensure that regular communication is maintained with the Production supervisor to advise of any issues adversely affecting your performance, any quality/equipment issues must be raised in a timely manner. Ensure critical issues are quickly recognised and resolved. Create an effective focused working relationship with key internal customers and suppliers. Work as a team - driving quality and performance - recognise your customers and suppliers and ensure partnership activities are always a priority. To maintain high levels of communication at all levels. Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times. Maintain high levels of Quality at all times Keep work area clean and tidy. Promote, demonstrate and maintain a quality culture including, housekeeping. The hours are 7.30am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 7.30am-12.30pm Friday paying £12.49 per hour, this position is ongoing with the view to being a permanent job for the right candidate.
