Job Opportunity: Associate Operator Location: Barry Department: Barry Finishing Polymer Ops Job Type: Full-Time (38-45 hours per week) Contract Duration: May 13 2024 - May 31, 2025

Job Description

Join our team in Barry as an Associate Operator. In this role, you will play a critical part in safely packaging and loading materials produced within the Polymers department. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Packaging drums and IBCs using a highly automated Drum Off machine.
  • Loading trailers with containers.
  • Liaising with fluids operators to maximise output.
  • Ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
  • Off-loading incoming packaging.
  • Completing SAP computer transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above), preferably including Maths, English, and Science.
  • Physical Fitness: This job is physically demanding.
  • Licenses: FLT license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English.
  • Medical Check: Required before starting.

  • Shift Type: TT 5 Shift (12-hour day/night shifts)
