A trainee Area Sales Executive role, where after a thorough induction programme you will be field based promoting an industry leading range of lintels and structural building materials. Bid Writer Contract: One-year fixed term contract; Part-time (22.5 hours per week) Location: Home based; Fully remote Salary: £15,795 per annum (£26,325 FTE) SUMMARY The candidate for this role will have experience and understanding of the tendering process (with Health sector experience beneficial, but not essential). The role will play a vital part in the company meeting its strategic objectives by helping the Sales Team secure major new business and existing client tenders. You will report to the Head of Bids and work closely with the Sales Team, Bid Team Co-Ordinator, and SMEs companywide to co-ordinate, prepare, write, and submit tenders / bids. This is a fixed-term position for up to one year, providing necessary cover whilst a member of the Bid Team is on maternity leave. The position requires 22.5 working hours per week, with flexibility around working hours. This is a fully remote position, and they will provide the successful candidate with all the necessary equipment for the role. MAIN OBJECTIVES Represent our client's bid function (help execute the daily, weekly, and long-term team strategy, led by the guidance of the Head of Bids). Developing a deep understanding of the available content, subject matter experts and their corporate credentials to help complete bids and advise salespeople and account managers on the appropriate content to use on each bid. Own the delivery of bids you are responsible for, collaborating with stakeholders to hit deadlines. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE Bid/proposal writing experience in a corporate commercial environment.
