This role is based in a secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area, where you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous. Utilise strong curriculum knowledge to plan, prepare and teach well-structured lessons. Implement classroom management strategies to create a respectful and vibrant learning environment. Assess, monitor, record and report on the progress of students. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of subject matter and educational research. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Recent and relevant experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial. Excellent classroom management skills and subject knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
