My client, a leading provider of global supply chain solutions, is looking to recruit an Account Manager to be responsible for managing and growing a Top 10 Fashion Retail customer account. ROLE: Account Manager - Global supply chain solutions/freight forwarding Location: London/Berkshire/Surrey/Heathrow/Home Counties Salary: Package is negotiable dependent upon experience THE ROLE Account Manager will be focused on driving the ongoing success of the client to help the client meet their strategic pillars, working across the company functions and the relevant client departments/functions. At least one day per week will be spent at the customer's site in central London. The rest of the week will be office based with responsibilities as follows: PEOPLE - Responsible for implementing the company Values and behaviours into the teams PROCESS- Responsible for delivering continuous improvement initiatives, to improve efficiencies & productivity opportunities. PROFIT - Accountable for delivering departmental service levels and KPI's KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop and maintain the Account Plan to increase both our revenue & margin. Provide a single point of contact for the clients on all matters relating to the logistics services provided by the company. Co-ordinate subject matter expert for all customer requirements Relationship management: Network at all levels of client organisation, Merchandising, IT, wholesalers, Retail stores. Become the first point of contact. Support the Operations to achieve and exceed service levels Arrange and conduct periodic business reviews, Weekly calls, Monthly and Quarterly business reviews for all brands Track P&L performance of the account, and report periodically to internal stakeholders Provide timely updates to the client on supply chain issues and service failures with proposed resolutions and recovery plans Project manage client Projects SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Detailed Knowledge and experience of the retail and fashion logistics market Experience of providing end to end global supply chain solutions Business acumen/commercially astute Excellent communication & presentation skills to board level Planning and Problem solving: Demonstrate a strong track record of problem solving and solid analytical skill capability to look at and find solutions for a variety of operational challenges. Multi-tasking between customers and brands Stakeholder management Making it happen through structured project management methodology. Change / Transformational Management Advanced MS Office (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Client Management and Communication: Ability to develop, manage, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to help support planning and goals.
