Project Manager
The decommissioning & projects team manage a range of small to medium sized projects related to nuclear decommissioning, building, demolition, installations and refurbishment each with a budget in the range of £0.5M to £50M the role is to provide full Project Management of a number of internal & external projects.
This involves promptly identifying and resolving outages or performance issues, providing first-line support to end-users, and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
To provide first line support and assist with the closure of all service requests, problems and incidents that relate to IT services.
The primary objective of the IT Service Desk is to ensure the performance and cost-effectiveness of our technology, application, and infrastructure solutions.
The role holder will be required to supervise the activities of personnel carrying out works for UNS (which includes employees, ASW and contract workers) on a day to day basis to ensure that all activities are executed in a safe, cost effective and reliable manner inline with legislative and company procedures.
The role objective is to ensure that construction, demolition and decommissioning works are carried out to specification and by safe working methods.
The role holder shall work closely with the wider UNS team to support the characterisation, monitoring and transfer of waste.
