Camden's Caretaking Service plays a significant role in Housing Management's ambitions for creating and maintaining a safe community/estate to support the health and wellbeing of residents.
Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness to internal elements of residential buildings in addition to the external areas within the parameters of an estate.
The role supports this by providing a visible presence and trusted service in the delivery of a flexible, responsive high quality caretaking service on our housing estates and the small number of street properties who receive this provision.
We provide community based registered care services for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex care needs.
We provide personalised outcome based support to enable individuals with significant care and support needs to live safely, happily and successfully in the community.
Our focus is to fill the gaps in accommodation and support provision for uniquely complex and challenging individuals by taking a fresh perspective to their support needs.
This includes providing support, care, and activities to customers, involving family, carers, and other agencies to meet their changing needs.
As Care and Support Team Leader, your role will be to provide a responsive, respectful, reliable, and resourceful care and support service to vulnerable older people within an extra care service.
You will also be supervising care staff through observation and discussion to competently undertake care and support activities in a dignified and compassionate manner.
Our client offers person-centred, independent living options across the whole care pathway - including outreach support to access the community, various supported living options and supporting those with complex physical, learning or mental health needs and developmental disorders.
Every person they support has their own tenancy agreement and their own from door - the emphasis is on delivering support that is grounded in the individuals needs, wishes and aspirations of the person receiving it.
Are you passionate about the care people receive and looking for a more varied and responsible position Are you looking to make a difference with an organisation that holds its customers at the heart of all they do If so, then this may be the role for you!
