Day to Day of the role: Lead and manage a Safeguarding and Care Planning team, ensuring high standards of practice and service delivery. Implement and maintain quality assurance systems within the team. Chair a range of professional, statutory, and interagency meetings. Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Contribute to the overall development of the service, identifying opportunities for improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance. Experience in supervising complex casework and undertaking contested care proceedings. Proven ability in supervising, supporting, and coaching social workers. Experience in practice teaching and raising practice standards. Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
